The MPO connectors push-pull mechanism simplifies engagement/disengagement and can plugged in/removed with one hand and without the use of tools. The connector design also prevents snagging when the cables are being installed. The numbered collars on the cable legs simplify identification and ensure that the proper connection is being made. One added benefit is that OM3 Cable is backwards compatible to any existing OM2 50/125 cabling you may currently have installed.
